Progress Network runs on community support. Every donation - whether £10 or £1,000 - helps young people access opportunities that change lives. From football sessions to recording studios, from gardening clubs to community celebrations, your generosity makes it all possible.
Your Name on the Studio Wall
The King's Rd Music Studio is being built right now. By early 2026, it will be a professional recording space where young people can write, produce, and record their music.
We're inviting 150 individual supporters to help launch this studio. In recognition, your name will be permanently displayed on our studio wall - a lasting part of something that will change young lives for generations. You'll be a founding supporter of Kings Rd music studio.
How It Works
Donate £100
Your name goes on the studio wall permanently. You'll be recognised as one of the original supporters who made this possible.
What You Get:
- Your name permanently displayed on the studio wall
- Invitation to the studio opening celebration in early 2026
- Regular updates on construction progress and impact
- The knowledge that every young person who records there will have benefited from your support
Progress: 🎵 12 of 150 supporters secured
That means 138 spaces remain. When all 150 are filled, the wall is complete.
What Your £100 Actually Funds
When you put your name on the studio wall, you're directly funding:
Studio Equipment
Microphones, audio interfaces, cables, stands
Acoustic Treatment
Soundproofing and panels that make a basement sound like a professional studio.
Software & Technology
Production software, plugins, and digital tools that young producers need to learn the craft.
Mentorship & Training
Experienced musicians and engineers who'll guide young people through their first recordings.
Support Our Work Beyond the Studio
The music studio is our biggest project right now, but Progress Network serves young people year-round across multiple programmes. Your flexible support - whether monthly or one-off - keeps everything running and growing.

Where Your Donation Goes
Programme Delivery
The actual sessions, events, and experiences that young people attend. Coaching, guidance, materials, and spaces.
Equipment & Supplies
Footballs, gardening tools, recording equipment, seeds, training bibs, first aid kits. The physical things that make programmes work.
Space Transformation
Turning dumping grounds into gardens. Converting empty shops into studios.
Subsidised Access
Keeping costs low (£2.50-£5 per session) so every family can participate, regardless of income.
Programme Growth
Expanding capacity, adding sessions, launching new initiatives based on what young people tell us they need.
Sustainability
Building infrastructure that ensures Progress Network serves St Leonards for decades, not just years.
We're a Community Interest Company run largely by volunteers. Your money goes to impact, not bureaucracy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my donation tax-deductible?
We're a Community Interest Company (CIC), not a registered charity, so we cannot claim Gift Aid. However, your donation goes directly to serving young people with minimal overhead.
Will I get updates on how my donation is used?
Yes. Studio wall supporters receive construction updates and impact reports. Monthly donors receive quarterly newsletters showing exactly where their support is going and the difference it's making.
Can I donate anonymously?
Yes. If you prefer your name not to appear on the studio wall or in any public recognition, just let us know during the donation process.
What if I can't afford £100 but still want to support the studio?
Every donation helps, whatever the amount. A one-off or monthly donation of any size contributes to the studio and all our programmes. The wall is for those who can give £100, but impact isn't limited to those names.
Can I sponsor a specific child or family?
While we can't facilitate direct sponsorships for safeguarding reasons, your donation to our general fund helps subsidise access for families who need it most.
How do I know my donation will be used well?
We're run by local volunteers who see the impact daily. Our accounts are transparent, and we're accountable to the community we serve. You're welcome to visit our programmes, meet our team, and see your support in action.
Can I volunteer instead of (or in addition to) donating?
Absolutely. We need both time and money. Visit our contact page to learn how you can get involved.
Support Us Through Your Time
We need volunteers to help run sessions, support events, share skills, and build community alongside us. Whether you have an hour a week or a few hours a month, your time makes a difference. Contact us to tell us why you want to volunteer.
